Children go to schools which has dust grounds, desks with woodborer , most of them shoeless, bored scholastic clothes, their heads shaved to avoid lice, but also always their eternal smiles.
Sunday the most of the Kamba get dressed in their best clothes, they go to church, is holiday, they sing and celebrate their faith. Monday is the market day, fruits, chicken and hens, knifegrinders and shoemakers, colorful without limits in disordered stands, something similar to a village center, distrustful glances against the intruder, but, finally laughs, Africans laugh.
Then night falls and I go back home along wooded roads, when I raise my eyes to the sky, I can see an infinite and shiny cupola of stars, of course, African stars too
